Who we are

Only Footprints Norway is a registered Norwegian business (org.nr. 937 724 098) operated by James Cooper, based in Stavanger, Rogaland. We provide guided tours, shore excursions and digital maps across Stavanger and the surrounding region.

What data we collect

We only collect data that is necessary to respond to your enquiry or improve the website. This includes:

• Contact form submissions — name, email address, phone number, travel date and message. Submitted via Formspree and forwarded to our email inbox.
• Calendly bookings — name, email address and any information you provide when booking a call. Managed by Calendly (calendly.com).
• Website analytics — anonymous data about how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on site, country of origin). Collected via Google Analytics 4 only if you accept cookies.

Why we collect it

• To respond to booking and tour enquiries
• To arrange and confirm calls via Calendly
• To understand how visitors find and use the website, so we can improve it

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or marketing without your explicit consent.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Data passes through the following services solely to operate the website:

• Formspree (formspree.io) — processes contact form submissions
• Calendly (calendly.com) — manages booking calls
• Google Analytics (analytics.google.com) — website analytics, only active with your consent

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and operates under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.

How long we keep it

• Contact form enquiries are kept in our email inbox for up to 2 years, then deleted
• Calendly booking records are retained as per Calendly's data retention policy
• Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google's default)

Cookies

This site uses cookies only for Google Analytics, and only if you give consent via the cookie banner. If you decline, no tracking cookies are set. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:
